Coast Whether it is breath-taking sea views, unspoilt, wild coastline or an opportunity to see the unique lunar like landscape of Mynydd Parys, there are a number of options open to the visitor. There are regular guided walks throughout the year (walkamlwch.co.uk), self guided walks using route maps or the way marked routes on the coastal path and the mountain, and the annual Anglesey Walking Festival. Amlwch Port Heritage Trail Start in the car park at the Sail loft on the east side of the port, and follow the numbered markers. Trail maps are available from the sail loft café and heritage centre. The trail finishes on the west side of the port opposite the watch tower. The path is relatively flat and the walk should take between 20 minutes to an hour, allowing the same for the return. * www.walkamlwch.co.uk * www.angleseycoastalpath.co.uk * www.pushchairwalks.co.uk * www.angleseywalkingfestival.com Walkers are also advised to adhere to the countryside code to protect, respect and enjoy the countryside, and to take care as the walks take in wild coastline, mine workings, industrial architecture in disrepair and busy main roads.
